FOUNDER & HEAD COACH

Coach Vic, a Santa Monica native, has dedicated his life to the game. After graduating SAMOHI, he continued his basketball career at La Verne University which lead him to playing professionally overseas in Brazil and Europe. He founded VC Basketball in his hometown with the goal to foster the development of young athletes both as players and individuals.

DIRECTOR

A native of Wisconsin who has lived 13 years in Santa Monica, Rick Moncher brings a strong business and basketball background to VC Elite.  Rick has started successful businesses on four continents and has played ball on courts on every stop of his life journey; with his favorite outdoor courts being in Havana, Acapulco, and Antalya, Turkey.  Rick has trained and coached kids both internationally and locally and looks forward to sharing his experience and passion for the game with our growing VC Elite family.

Coach/Trainer

Coach Lala, originally from Toronto, Canada, has dedicated his life to basketball with 15+ years of competitive playing experience and 3+ years of skills training experience. Coach Lala, a powerhouse for VC Elite, is currently the Assistant Coach at University High School and is on the committee for Ghana Basketball 3×3.

Coach/Trainer

Coach T is a veteran in the basketball community. He started playing at just 5 years old, and pursued the game in high school & college until an injury at 26. He has spent the past 27 years coaching basketball and brings decades of knowledge and passion to our team: he was a High School Head Coach, AAU Head Coach, and AAU Program Director. Coach T is known for his leadership and mentorship, and his dedication to developing well-rounded student athletes both on and off the court.

Coach/Trainer

Coach Cam has a passion for player development, basketball IQ, and building strong fundamentals. With three years of varsity basketball experience, he understands the game form the perspective of a player and a coach. He brings powerful knowledge to the team with experience as a Varsity Head Coach, and AAU coaching. Beyond the court, Coach Cam believes basketball is a tool for personal growth, helping players develop leadership, discipline, and resilience that translates to all areas of life.

Coach/Trainer

Coach Armon brings passion and knowledge to VC Elite - he achieved over 1000 career points in high school, which led to his collegiate career at the Division II level. During his time in college, he was honored as s member of the All-Academic All-Regional Team, reflecting his commitment to both athletics and academics. Coach Armon started his coaching journey at Shoot 360, a high tech basketball training facility, and currently coaches for Roosevelt School.
